NB! This dentro was put together in a hurry to reach the
party deadline (as always), so the finished product
is not quite as we had in mind, but hopefully it is
somewhat satisfying and abit entertaining anyway..?

About:
------

Original "PM" was DOS-extender demo, which required Vesa 2.0 compliant
video card with Linear Frame Buffer (LFB) and ISA slot-based sound device:
Sound Blaster or Gravis Ultrasound (hey, does anyone still
remember good old DOS days, huh?).

"PM 2.0" is fully rewritten version of the production.
It uses latest windows-compatible multimedia technologies
to achieve highest level of compatibility for the future.

All of original content is included, some bugs were fixed, few more timings
were improved, couple of dangerous coding tricks replaced with safer code,
which runs fine on latest generation of CPUs (PentiumIII, Athlon and newer).

                                   -.-

Technical notes:
----------------

For best performance, watch demo in 320x200 32BPP fullscreen mode
(this is original format of the presentation).

Windowed versions are slower (you need faster CPU to watch it comfortable).
Slowest is windowed 800x600 mode.

For best visual experience with this production, your Windows Desktop depth
should be set to "True Color" (32 bits).
You can change your actual Desktop Depth in following menu:
"Start"->"Settings"->"Control Panel"->"Display"->"Settings"->"Colors".

Use "s" hotkey to catch screenshots (in TGA format) during watching.

Software requirements:
----------------------
- Windows 9x / 2000 (SP2 or newer) / XP (SP1 or newer)
- DirectX 5.0 (or newer)

Recommended hardware:
---------------------
- CPU: 400Mhz+ (for 320x200 fullscreen mode)
or 600Mhz+ (for 640x480+ windowed mode)
- Ram: 32MB (64MB for Windows 2000 / XP)
- Video card: 4MB VMem, anything compatible with DirectX
- Sound card: 16bits, anything compatible with Windows

Libraries used:
---------------
- "SDL" by Sam Lantinga
- "BassMod" by Ian Luck
- "CFL" by Jari Komppa

                                   -.-

This conversion is kind of my personal way to say "Thank You!" to
all my friends from Talent I had pleasure to work with over the past years
(you guys know who you are!).

Additionally I'd like to dedicate this work to all fans worldwide,
which might like to watch this demo again.

Stay tuned for more quality stuff to be released by Talent at some point
in the future.

Best regards,
